Scott Eason

Scott Eason - BerbaSlothAgeing target man Scott Eason was one of the first players approached by the management team when it was clear that the reserves would be starting up this season. Eason has been on the local scene for many years, and despite over the seasons developing an inverse relationship to his goals per game and age, he is a great signing.

“Super” Scott Eason (as he likes to be known) can play up front or as an attacking midfielder and has a good touch for a big man with an eye (but not head) for goal. Another experienced campaigner, he adds to the growing Wootton contingent in the dressing room, and fears of a split between the Duston and Wootton lads has been allayed as Eason said “just coz we’re yokels doesn’t mean we can’t get on with our more streetwise betters from Duston. I look forward to playing with them and also picking up some lipstick tips from Nasal”.

Scott Eason, a gentlemen, a swordsman, and a targetman. We look forward to seeing him line up for the Wombles and think he would be a good outside bet for top scorer (if he can control his booze consumption and actually turn up!).

£10 says he WON’T be top scorer!
